The purpose of the foundation is to fund and manage the rehabilitation of South Africa’s fauna and flora with special focus on the reintroduction of indigenous wildlife and endangered species to neglected or unused farmland.

| The value or price of a Diamond is determined by a combination of the "4 C's" as illustrated below. |
1. Carat
Carat is simply a weight measurement and refers to the size of a Diamond: 1 carat = 200mg |
2. Colour
The less colour present in a Diamond the more valuable the Diamond. The alphabet colour scale does not take into account "fancy coloured" diamonds. |
3. Clarity
Clarity refers to the presence of inclusions and is graded using a binocular microscope at 10 x magnification. |
4. Cut
A well-proportioned Diamond will allow the light that enters it to be reflected by the facets and back out of the stone giving it sparkle or "fire". |
